The Spicy Pickle Restaurant is the subject of a Portage Police investigation.

The Portage Police Department confirmed they are looking into complaints that customers of the restaurant, who paid with plastic, had their card information stolen.

Update 12-01-08:WWMT now adds that investigators are aware of several dozen customers who have had their data misused. The credit card processing company notified the restaurant of the breach 10 days ago, although it is not yet clear how the data were accessed.
